I’m learning about alternative energy and I loved wind power the most. I wanted to know more about it. If you can give me names of companies that install wind turbines,the cost, and why it is better than any other alternative energy you could be the best answer and you can give me extra information too .

Wind is better because it can safe our environment but every time it does not work while comes storms.
Who says it’s better than any other type? It’s no good in areas where there is no wind, but plenty of sun or rain or geothermal.
GE builds windmills. Large wind turbines cost about $2 million/megawatt capacity to buy and erect.

Wind turbines are THE worst reneable technology available. It is not reliable and if the wind is to strong it will not work. It bearly produces any energy. They cost around £20,000 and never make there money back.
All alternative energy sources have their own pros and cons. Wind is a great form of energy however it falls under the same catagory as solar power because its not readily available. Even though each one on its own if harnessed well enough can power our planet just from that source.
wind power is better beacuse while using it our environment is safe.
First, it is good but I don’t know if it is better that solar.

Gamesa was the second biggest company in the world installing wind turbines and has produced electricity comparable to 2.5 million tons of oil at some point. Then the chinese started making wind mills.
Interesting thing, this two companies are in the same town. That mus be like the world capital of wind mills.
