i have an area like that, it’s called a closet? isn’t the point of going off the grid to get off the grid? not build a room next door to the grid?

@johnmonk66 – Hey .. thanks for the support. This is a start of better things in the future. I gotta learn somehow. It will be heated by wood, powered by the sun and wind. Maybe down the road I’ll sell the house and get out in the middle of nowhere and do the real thing. One step at a time baby.

@coopersnoop Okay, then it really is a video about ‘practicing’ to get off the grid, then thats fine. Its just youtube is full of people giving advice they don’t follow, but once you clarify it is a first step, then its all different. I too am taking first steps, hard here in NY, but I have set up ways to do all my cooking without need of stoves or gas. Snow Peak gear, I highly recommend it.
